Ryan Giggs was again the subject of adulation as Manchester United defeated Everton 2-0 at Old Trafford today.
The 39-year old Welsh winger scored in the 13th minute of the match which put United 12 points clear at the top of the table and was one of the stars of the show, with his performance not lost on manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
"We've used up all the superlatives," Ferguson told Sky Sports.
"He doesn't need any himself because his legacy lives on. He is a fantastic human being.
"At 39 years of age he is up and down that pitch all day and has fantastic energy. It is great to see."
Giggs has now scored in 21 straight Premier League seasons to make it at least a goal in each of his 23 campaigns for United.
