Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson says his team just needs to finish above Chelsea this season to make the title theirs.

Ferguson believes Chelsea are the only team that can challenge them for the title and ahead of this Sunday's huge clash at Stamford Bridge indicated that a ladder position higher than the Blues will give United another Premiership.

"It's looking that way," said Fergie. "It seems they'll be the ones to get in front of.

"It's a very experienced team, that's the first thing. I said last year it's a team that can only improve results by the system they adopt."

Ferguson admitted the influence of manager Carlo Ancelotti was a huge factor in Chelsea's brilliant form so far this season.

"Their consistency, compared to last season, has probably been a wee bit better under Carlo Ancelotti," he added.

"He's brought in the system he used at AC Milan of the diamond in the middle of the pitch.

"It's hard to break down when you get into their third, because they've got bodies compacted into the central area of the pitch.

"It's always a hard game at Chelsea, but we'll deal with it better than we did at Anfield, I'm sure of that."
