Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has spoken out about summer signing Ashley Young, saying he is fitting in well at the club.
The former Aston Villa made his Red Devils debut in their 4-1 win over MLS club New England Revolution on Wednesday night and his immediate impact with his new club has impressed Ferdinand.
"It's always great to see new signings, and young, hungry ones like we've got," he told Sky Sports News.
"We saw Ashley Young out there today. He's come in and fit in really well, so it's good.
"He's a relaxed lad, he's confident in his own ability.
"He's known a few of the lads so this is an easy squad for him to integrate into.
"There's not a bad lad here."
