Man Utd's 2-goal McTominay: Mum, Dad and Grandad tell me to get in box more

Manchester United ace Scott McTominay believes that his goalscoring form this season is due to self-belief.

McTominay was celebrating his brace against Chelsea, which saw the Red Devils win 2-1 in the Premier League on Wednesday.

The Scotland international netted his fifth goal of the Premier League season so far, while he has also been prolific for Scotland in Euro 2024 qualifiers.

"It's something I want to keep building, in terms of my game," he said post-game to MUTV.

"People tell me that I can do more of it and I can score goals and you just have to believe in yourself.

"My mum and dad have always said just get in the box and try and score goals, and my grandad at home, and sometimes it's just believing in yourself.

"As long as the team are playing well and I am contributing then I am happy."
