Bordeaux star Gabriel Obertan is being tracked by Chelsea.
The 19-year-old, 6ft 2in winger has been recommended to Scolari by Blues' France scout Guy Hillion.
Chelsea's interest has also prompted Manchester United to send scouts to watch the lad, who made his debut at 16.
