Manchester United are retaining a watching brief for Celtic fullback Kieran Tierney.

The Manchester Evening News says United will return for Tierney next summer.

Jose Mourinho has put his pursuit for a new left-back on hold for the coming season, despite being heavily linked with a move for Tierney.

Everton have recently pulled out of the race for the Celtic starlet's signature.

But Tierney, who still has five years to run on his Celtic deal, will be looked at by United again next summer.
