Man Utd remain hopeful of securing PSV winger Cody Gakpo

Manchester United believe they can secure PSV forward Cody Gakpo for £34 million this summer.

The attacker, who plays off the left wing, is seen as an alternative to Marcus Rashford by boss Erik ten Hag.

According to The Telegraph, United are very serious about Gakpo and wanted him signed in the coming week.

However, they will have to wait for PSV to play their Champions League play-off second leg against Rangers in midweek.

United are also pushing for the signing of Ajax right-winger Antony.

The Brazilian is another whom ten Hag admires, but Ajax have turned down a £67.9 million bid from United.
