Manchester United are willing to hand Michael Carrick a new deal.

The Mirror says United are ready to hand Carrick a new one-year deal.

With Jose Mourinho on the brink of being confirmed as their next boss United have now decided they want to retain Carrick for another 12 months.

Orlando City, Sporting Kansas City, Stoke, Bournemouth, Arsenal and Everton have all registered their interest.

But United hope to persuade Carrick, who has been at Old Trafford since 2006, to stay on with their late offer.
