Man Utd raise a glass to Singha

Manchester United have announced an extension to their sponsorship agreement with Thai beer brand Singha, reports SportsPro. The initial three-year agreement, signed in 2010, has now been renewed for a further three years to 2016, with Singha remaining as the Red Devils' official beer partner.

Terms of the deal were not released, however Singha is a global partner of the current Premier League leaders and so their financial commitment is likely to be worth a significant seven-figure sum.

"Singha celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2013 and what better way to commemorate this than to renew our successful relationship," United's commercial director Richard Arnold said.

"Manchester United is delighted to be keeping Singha within its family of sponsors and looking forward to building on the fantastic achievements the partnership has created so far."
