Olympique Lyon right-back Malo Gusto is being linked with Manchester United.

Media Foot says United manager Erik ten Hag has been handed a huge boost in adding to his squad in January following reports that United's board has given the green light to sign Gusto next month.

The Dutchman is looking to add to his options in that area of the pitch in order to provide extra competition for Diogo Dalot, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka only being handed his first start of the season against Burnley on Wednesday.

United are now 'more and more preparing' a move for Gusto and the board have 'approved an amount nearing €30m (£26.4m)' in order to convince Lyon to sell the 19-year-old next month.
