Manchester United are preparing a bid for Atletico Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente.
The Spain international has emerged as a top target for United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, says AS, who is in the market for a new box-to-box midfield addition this summer.
Llorente's deal carries a €125m buyout clause, but United are willing to offer €80m to get a deal over the line.
Over his two seasons with Atletico, Llorente has been outstanding under coach Diego Simeone, driving the team to the top of the LaLiga table this season.
The 26 year-old had been tempted across town from Real Madrid in 2019.
