Manchester United have started scouting Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi.

La Gazztta dello Sport says United scouts are now following the former Roma junior as they consider him for the summer market.

A return to Roma was mooted for Frattesi last summer, but he ultimately remained with Sassuolo.

He has continued to be linked with the Giallorossi, but now United have joined the picture.

Scouts have been assigned by United to track Frattesi to the end of the season.
