Manchester United are giving serious consideration to a winter swoop for former Stoke striker Eric Choupo-Moting.
The 33-year-old, who is presently with Bayern Munich, could replace wantaway veteran Cristiano Ronaldo.
The latter has wanted a way out of United since the summer, and is no longer first choice under manager Erik ten Hag.
Per Media Foot, if Ronaldo gets his wish and departs in January, then Choupo-Moting will be the one they target to replace him.
Ten Hag admires the latter's versatility and experience, along with his work ethic on and off the ball.
He is out of contract in the summer, which means Bayern may agree to a cut-price sale if the financials make sense for all parties.
