Manchester United are preparing a summer bid for Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik.Il Mattino says Hamsik could be sold by Napoli in the summer, with United boss David Moyes monitoring developments.
The Slovakia international has struggled for form this season under coach Rafa Benitez and been linked with Inter Milan.
However, Inter's new deal with Fredy Guarin has seen their interest dry up.
Instead, United are now regarded as favourites for Hamsik, with a bid in the region of €31 million being mooted. It's also been suggested Napoli would be keen on a swap deal involving Shinji Kagawa plus €15 million for Hamsik.
