Tyrell Malacia says Manchester United's squad is delighted with Erik ten Hag's proactive approach in training.

The Dutchman was a key reason for Malacia joining United from Feyenoord this summer.

And Malacia has enjoyed working under his new manager.

"Again, very excited. From the first moment I spoke with him on the phone it felt good and now that I'm here it's even better," Malacia told MUTV.

"The manager is very involved in training and everyone likes that a lot and we are enjoying it.

"We can all learn a lot from him and it's good for us all. I just try to play the football I did at my former club and I just want to keep developing. I'm really happy that I can bring my input here."
