Manchester United have joined the race for Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira. The Daily Star says United boss Louis van Gaal hopes to blow Arsenal and Chelsea out the water with a MEGA contract offer for Germany World Cup winner Khedira.
Both Chelsea and Arsenal have been looking at him since he recovered from injury to play in the summer's World Cup but now Manchester United are also in the race.
United, after their massive summer spend, would offer higher wages than both Chelsea and Arsenal - the latter would only countenance an offer if would be prepared to take less money than his current deal is worth.
However the Manchester club would be able to increase his £150,000 pay packet to near £200,000 and, unlike Chelsea, would be in a position to make him their main man in midfield.
