Manchester United have formally opened new contract talks with goalkeeper David de Gea.
De Gea is now inside the final 18 months of his current deal.
The Daily Star says United are ready to offer the 24-year-old a huge £200,000-a-week contract to keep him out of Real Madrid's clutches.
His agent Jorge Mendes said recently: "David is amazing, he's brilliant. He's a Man United player and has a contract there.
"You have to respect that but things change every five minutes."
