Man Utd No2 Queiroz has no problems with somersaulting Nani
Manchester United assistant boss Carlos Queiroz has no problems with Nani's double-somersault goal celebration - which he executed during last night's 3-0 win over Glentoran.
It was his third goal in 4 pre-season games, ensuring he will play some part when United open the defence of their Premier League title against Reading on Sunday.
And while Queiroz admits it would be better if Nani restricted himself to less gymnastic celebrations he hopes the opportunity to complete them rises as often as possible.
"Maybe it would be better not to celebrate like that," said Ferguson's assistant. "He can get injured that way.
"But it is his way to celebrate and we hope he has a lot more moments to celebrate.
"That is what we expect from him."
Queiroz confirmed United had emerged from their trip to Belfast with no injury worries.
Nemanja Vidic did need a couple of stitches in an eye wound, while Cristiano Ronaldo, who missed the flight after suffering an ankle knock in training, should also be available to face Steve Coppell's men.
Brazilian international Anderson also completed his first full 90 minutes since his arrival from Porto.
"He picked up a little bit of a hamstring injury at Doncaster on Friday but he is okay now," said Queiroz.
"I would imagine within a couple of weeks he'll be at top fitness."
Queiroz accepts there will be many stiff challenges ahead but insisted United are fully prepared to meet them.
"We are ready," he said. "There is no doubt we believe the boys are fully prepared.
"We realise it is a different ball game now. The Premier League is starting, it has a different atmosphere, different problems and there is a different intensity.
"But everybody is very excited by the challenge and ready to run this race."
