Ralf Rangnick is set to terminate his contract with Red Bull.

The former Hoffenheim coach is currently Red Bull's football director, but is in negotiations to break his agreement, says BILD.

Rangnick had been in talks with AC Milan about succeeding Stefano Pioli as coach before the Rossonero's decision to hand Pioli a new deal.

The German has been linked with Manchester United in the past as they sought a first technical director appointment.

In England, it's been claimed United are reviving their plans to hire a director of football and Rangnick is again being mentioned amongst several high-profile candidates.
