The Deloitte money league has Manchester United in first place, over Spanish giants Real Madrid.
While United may be trailing Manchester City in the Premier League, fans will be happy to know the club's finances are in good order. United generated over £580 million in revenue, which was around £1.5 million more than the Spanish giants.
It is the 10th time in over 20 years that United are top of the money league. Fans will be happy to know that a lot of that money does go on towards player purchases and other improvements at the club.
There was some worry early during the Glazer reign that a lot of money was being spent by the club on servicing debt. And while debt and interest payments are still a feature of the United accounts, the ballooning revenue means there is enough money to spend lavishly on transfers and wages, while managing that debt.
The latest show of United's financial muscle is the deal to bring Alexis Sanchez to Old Trafford, with media reports suggesting that Sanchez will become the highest paid player in the league on a four-and-a-half-year contract.
