Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay admits the away support inspired the players for yesterday's win at Fulham.
McTominay admits a banner unfurled at the away end struck the players before kickoff.
The banner read “Play like you mean it" and McTominay said: “Yeah we've seen it, we've seen the banner before the game.
“And a few of said 'do you know what? The fans pay good money to come watch every week and the support is relentless towards us every single week'
“And we just want to repay them as best we can. Things haven't been going the best at the moment,
“But like I say it's a building block, step by step and with the manager and the coaching staff we trust them a lot.
“We trust the players and I feel like we can go on and kick on and do better."
