Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson has priced himself out of a move to Sunderland.
The Daily Mail says Gibson's £3million move from Manchester United to Sunderland has finally broken down.
Sunderland manager Steve Bruce is refusing to budge on Gibson's demands for £40,000 a week and is happy with his summer purchases after Blackpool's David Vaughan became his ninth signing last week.
Stoke City are also interested in Gibson.
