Manchester United midfielder Ethan Galbraith is delighted with his loan move to Doncaster Rovers.

The 20-year-old Northern Ireland international arrived from Manchester United on Friday, and says it was an easy decision to make the move.

He told the Donny website: “I'm delighted to be here and finally have the deal over the line, I can't wait to get started and show what I can do.

“My agent informed me that Doncaster were interested, I played with Richie's son at United so this was the place I wanted to come.

“I've been playing in the U23s at United for the past two seasons, so I feel I'm past that stage now and ready for the challenge of men's football."

After the experience he's gained internationally and in Europe with his parent club, Galbraith is hoping he can add something different to the Rovers midfield.

He added: “It will be a lot tougher than what I'm used to and people want to get about you, but I'm ready for it.

“I'm a player that likes to get on the ball and dictate play, and if I can get high up the pitch then I can add goals as well."
