Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen was delighted to get a full 90 under his belt for Denmark.

Eriksen started in the friendly against Switzerland - his first in 2024.

"It was great to play 90," he later said.

"Personally, I think it went well. There were a few small mistakes here and there, but that's what happens in a match.

"I can use it for a lot. It is often the case in football that you want to play the games you can. Sitting on the bench is never fun. But it's about taking the opportunities you get.

"Whether it's in the club and whether you get five or ten minutes, it's about proving yourself. Having said that, 90 minutes was great for the body and for the rhythm.

"But it is not crucial for whether you can perform. It's about whether you are in good physical shape and can be there on the day, and I feel that I can."
