Man Utd manager ten Hag allays fears over long-term Rashford injury

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed Marcus Rashford has suffered a muscle injury ahead of Thursday's Europa League clash with Sheriff Tiraspol.

Fortunately for Rashford after his strong start to the season, ten Hag has played down the severity of the injury.

Asked about the Englishman, ten Hag told a pre-match press conference: "He is not available. [It is] still the consequence after Arsenal. He has a muscle injury."

When quizzed on how long you think Marcus will be out for, he added: "No. I don't think too long but I cannot tell how long.

"No, he's not injured again. I don't want to say [how long]. It's not really bad and we expect him back quite soon in the team."
