Manchester United have made contact with Borussia Dortmund for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Daily Mail says United have registered solid interest in £70million-rated Aubameyang ahead of the summer market.

The Borussia Dortmund striker has been a revelation this season and is being chased by a host of European giants, including Real Madrid and Chelsea.

Thomas Tuchel is worried about a potential dismantling of his Dortmund squad, with midfielder Ilkay Gundogan on his way to Manchester City and central defender Mats Hummels' future up in the air.

United are keen to pounce on that uncertainty, with Aubameyang holding a desire to play in both England and Spain - even though he is already 26.
