Anzhi Makhachkala and Manchester United are chasing Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder. Sneijder's future at Inter is in doubt with the Dutchman no longer regarded a first-choice for coach Andrea Stramaccioni.

Russia's Izvestia says United and Anzhi have been alerted to the situation, with United having already made an offer of €20 million ahead of the January market.

However, Anzhi are also keen and prepared to outbid United when the winter transfer window opens.

Inter president Massimo Moratti is ready to sell with one eye on UEFA's looming Financial Fair Play laws.
