Jurrien Timber has again cast doubt on his future at Ajax.
The Holland defender is being linked with Liverpool and Manchester United, where his former Ajax coach Erik ten Hag has just completed a first season in charge.
"Unfortunately very little," Timber responded when asked if he can tell more about his future plans. "I don't mean that nothing is going on, but more that I can't say anything yet."
Timber was spotted at Wembley, as a guest of Manchester United for the FA Cup final against Manchester City (2-1 loss). That fueled new rumours of a summer switch.
"Things like that move very quickly," Timber told Veronica Inside of his presence at Wembley. "You get a few texts, yes. It's funny, but it doesn't say anything."
