Manchester United legend Paul Scholes is being linked with a job at Wigan Athletic.

The Sun says he will be offered a coaching position at Wigan by his old friend Warren Joyce.

Joyce left his job as Manchester United reserves coach last week to take over at the DW Stadium.

United and England legend Scholes has been lost to the game since hanging up his boots and only does TV work.
