Manchester United legend Paul Scholes doesn't want to be regarded as a 'great'.
World Cup winners Zinedine Zidane and Xavi both dubbed Scholes the best midfielder they had come up against while the likes of Edgar Davids, Cristiano Ronaldo and even Pele have all gushed about the flame-haired playmaker.
But humble Scholes, 38, said: "I don't really agree.
"These guys have won World Cups and European Championships.
"I think you have to do it on the biggest stage to be considered a true great. I haven't done that."
