Manchester United legend Gary Neville says Anthony Martial needs to find greater consistency.

Martial has been inconsistent this season, netting 12 times in all competitions.

Neville thinks the 23-year-old needs to do more work off the ball and make dangerous runs to get the most out of his ability.

“I look at Anthony Martial who plays in fits and starts," said Neville.

“You think about the number of runs Mane and Salah make behind the centre-backs, Martial doesn't do that.

“Martial likes to play when he's got the ball. I don't see him running enough without the ball."
