Manchester United legend Roy Keane has backed their appointment of Louis van Gaal.
Holland coach Van Gaal has been tasked with putting the Old Trafford club back on top, and Keane reckons the ex-Bayern Munich and Barcelona will do just that.
Asked if Van Gaal was the right man for the job, the former United skipper said: "You hope so.
"He is obviously a top manager, lots of experience. His contract was up with the national team, so that fell into place nicely.
"Fingers crossed, he'll be a manager. It's been a tough season for United - fingers crossed he'll do the business.
"I'm pretty sure he will."
Keane reckons they need at least half a dozen players to challenge for honours once again.
"Of course it's a big job," he added. "They need some players - I've said they need five or six players.
"They will bounce back. They are Man United."
