Man Utd legend Ferguson can't see FFP working

Manchester United legend Sir Alex Ferguson can't see UEFA's Financial Fair Play laws working.

Ferguson was asked about the commercialisation of football at yesterday's book launch.

"It's a difficult one. The way the financial structure of our game is, in terms of salaries, means you cannot get it from gates or TV. Other parts in terms of sponsorship and corporate hospitality is very important. London is far more expensive that Manchester but it is there - the most important thing is how you control the salary structure. I don't know the way around that. There is talk about FFP (Financial Fair Play) but I think there is always a way around that so it is a dangerous time in terms of salaries."
