Manchester United legend Andy Cole is backing Danny Welbeck for a successful season.
The 23-year-old forward scored the Reds' first goal of the pre-season tour which ended earlier this week and generally impressed Andy Cole, who attended all the matches in the United States as a member of the team's travelling entourage.
Cole, now a club ambassador, told ManUtd.com: "I enjoyed watching Danny Welbeck on the tour. He finished it with an injury unfortunately and had to miss the final.
"But I was impressed by the way he came out of the blocks on tour, with a super finish for the first goal against LA Galaxy."
