Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar enjoyed an uneventful 90 minutes in the club's reserve-team win over Everton on Tuesday night.
The 38-year-old Dutchman, who has been out of action since breaking his hand during United's pre-season match with Bayern Munich, was on the pitch for the entirety of the 1-0 win.
Van der Sar showed no discomfort during the game, comfortably keeping a clean sheet while Italian striker Federico Macheda scored the decisive goal at the other end.
