Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster is facing a battle to go with England to the World Cup.
The Sunday Mirror says Foster's chances of landing a place in England's World Cup squad are receding after Ferguson admitted that Van der Sar is his undisputed No.1.
Ferguson will not allow Foster to go out on loan in January to get the regular first-team football he needs to convince national boss Fabio Capello to take him to South Africa.
