Manchester United could battle Arsenal for Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi.

The Spaniard has been impressing Premier League scouts for several years.

His performances in La Liga this season are seeing him being linked with moves to several top clubs.

Per Mundo Deportivo in Spain, Arsenal even tried to sign Zubimendi in January.

However, they did not make a high enough offer, and now face competition from United for his signature.

United were impressed by Zubimendi when they played in the Europa League group stages earlier this season, which has led to their boss Erik ten Hag also wanting to sign the 24 year old.

La Real chiefs are aware of United's interest and are convinced they're serious about the midfielder.
