Manchester United are understood to be considering tabling an offer for Manchester City's Cameron Humphreys.

The Daily Mail is reporting the Red Devils have joined Newcastle United and Everton in the race for the teenager's signature.

Humphreys is unable to sign a professional contract until he turns 17 on August 22.

The 16-year-old featured for Manuel Pellegrini's side during City's pre-season fixtures in Australia against Real Madrid, Roma and Melbourne City.
