Manchester United have joined the battle for Feyenoord midfielder Jordy Clasie.

Voetbal International says Feyenoord have cut their asking price for Clasie from €18 million to €12.5 million.

United see Clasie as an alternative to Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.

Also in contact with Feyenoord for Clasie are Sunderland, Southampton, Aston Villa and AS Roma.

The 23 year-old midfielder is ready to leave Rotterdam this summer.
