Manchester United have added Eder Militao to their defender wish-list as the January transfer window approaches.

Currently 15 points behind league leaders Manchester City, United are desperate to bolster their stocks and manager Jose Mourinho has highlighted a centre-back as his number on priority.

A host of names, including Milan Skriniar and Nikola Milenkovic, have been linked with the Red Devils.

And the Daily Record believe Porto's Militao can be added to that list.

The 20-year-old has established himself as a regular for the Portuguese giants this season.

Militao fits United's profile of signing young players for a lower fee than other targets in the past such as Jerome Boateng and Toby Alderweireld.
