David Beckham fancies his old Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson taking charge of his new MLS franchise.
Beckham has lined up Miami as a potential location for a new Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise but joked he won't be asking Ferguson to manage it after the former Manchester United boss criticised him in his new book.
Beckham said: "It's funny, he (Sir Alex) was one of the first names I was going to call up to be manager. I'm not so sure now.
"All joking aside, I wouldn't want to be negative about Sir Alex. He gave me the chance to live my dream."
