Manchester United hero Patrice Evra feels fit-again Harry Maguire shouldn't be handed back the captaincy.

Evra feels Maguire would benefit from not having to take on the responsibilty.

He told Betfair: "This is a huge opportunity for Harry Maguire.

"The team is doing well, and I think that thanks to this, his integration will be easier. I don't know if (Erik) Ten Hag will give him back the armband because it doesn't help Harry.

"When fans and other people see him with the armband, things are already negative. I spoke to Harry and told him not to give up and that he needs to get his confidence back. This is the perfect opportunity for him to show us the player he is."
