Manchester United chiefs accept a deal for Burnley-owned striker Wout Weghorst could drag on.
Sky Sports says United are still keeping their options open when it comes to striker targets, despite agreeing a deal in principal to bring in Weghorst.
It's believed United, Besiktas and Burnley have reached an agreement that will see Weghorst make the move to Old Trafford for the rest of the season, as long as the Turkish club are able to bring in a replacement this month.
However, United are aware it's a complex deal, and so are still pursuing other options to ensure they are not left short should it fall through.
