Manchester United are preparing to start their bid for Tottenham striker Harry Kane.

The Red Devils are extremely eager to add the England captain to their squad.

United see Kane as the ideal man to lead their front line and allow their other, young forwards to mature.

Per The Telegraph, United are willing to make a bid to Spurs for Kane this summer.

They know the forward is out of contract in a year, which means Spurs risk losing him on a free transfer at that time.

United will need to stump up at least £100 million to convince Spurs to sell.
