Manchester United fullback Fabio da Silva says he's a better player for last season's loan with QPR.
Fabio had an inconsistent spell in London.
But he told the Manchester Evening News: "Despite relegation, last season was a good experience for me. I wanted to leave on loan to play more games and I played more games.
"Queen's Park Rangers was very different to United on and off the pitch. I'd been at United since 17, it's a huge club with fans everywhere in the world, but I don't think it was bad for me to spend a year away.
"I learned from the experience, it made me more mature as a person and dealing with life not being with my brother all the time."
