Manchester United fullback Patrice Evra must run the gauntlet of Olympique Marseille fans this week. Marseille's legendary former captain and coach Jean Fernandez, now boss at Auxerre, says the ex-France captain can expect to be targeted by players and fans.
Fernandez said: "This will be his first game in France since the World Cup and the crowd are certainly going to be booing him. Marseille coach Didier Deschamps can bet on it.
"He can ask his players to provoke Evra to the maximum so that he fouls and ends up getting a card.
"If that happens, Evra will not be able to defend as effectively.
"That could be decisive as his aggression in winning the ball - and winning it back - is so important in his game."
