Manchester United fullback Alex Buttner feels he helped Patrice Evra to new heights last season.

The Dutchman insists he contributed to Evra's impressive campaign.

He said: "Manchester United need two good left-backs.

"I put pressure of Patrice because I did well when I played.

"But Patrice did well also. That is the way it works at United. You put pressure on each other."
