Manchester United winger Tahith Chong has formally joined Birmingham City for preseason.

Chong has been omitted from Manchester United's matchday squad for their pre-season friendly against Queens Park Rangers today.

That's because, despite playing and scoring against Derby County on Sunday, the Dutchman has at last linked up with his new club, Birmingham City, to begin his season-long loan with the Blues.

Chong, 21, spent last term on loan at Werder Bremen and Club Brugge.
