Manchester United had a rough time getting to Ashton Gate to play Bristol City for Wednesday night's Carabao Cup quarter final clash.
Foggy conditions in England's south east forced United's plane to be diverted, eventually landing in Cardiff.
The Red Devils made the rest of the journey across the border by coach.
Sky Sports pundit Danny Higginbotham said United wouldn't be concerned about the distraction.
He said: "If you look at the Manchester United squad, it is full of full internationals who are used to flying all over the place.
"I don't think it will be an issue for them in the slightest."
