Radamel Falcao struck form for Colombia on Thursday night to remind the critics what he is capable of.
The striker has struggled in his debut season with Manchester United, who he joined on loan from Monaco in the summer, but brushed off his club worries by scoring brace for los Cafeteros in a friendly win over Bahrain.
?Jose Pekerman's Colombia, who impressed with a quarter-final finish at last year's FIFA World Cup in Brazil, demolished the Bahrainis 6-0 in Riffa courtesy of a first-half Falcao brace and assist.
?The former Atletico Madrid star supplied Carlos Bacca with the opener in the 15th minute before lashing a left-footed volley across Bahrain keeper Sayed Jaafar in the 32nd minute for his first of the match.
?Falcao then made it 3-0 four minutes later when curling home from the near post to set up the eventual rout at the Bahrain National Stadium.
?Adrian Ramos, Johan Mojica and Andres Renteria made it six goals by the final whistle as Colombia cruised in the Middle East.
?Bahrain may be ranked 103rd in the world but a performance of Falcao's quality is sure to give him some confidence ahead the season run-in with United.?
